IEEE CPSCAPP 2020

IEEE International Symposium on Cyber Physical Systems Concerns and Applications (IEEE CPS'CAPP 2020)

The emergence and evolution of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) are driven by the emergence of Information and Communication Technologies within an extended digital society and business. CPS are often engineered systems and are constructed via the integration of cyber (i.e. computational features) and physical (i.e. machines, cars, buildings, humans, etc.) components.
The expected capabilities of CPS to bring transformational changes to economies, societies, and ultimately the way people live, are driven by the fusing of advanced technologies such as social media, mobile computing, cloud computing, IoT, and big data analytics, robotics, blockchain, etc. CPS construction has strong impact on the overall structure, behavior and phases of the system lifecycle. The strong aspect of CPS design stimulates, the challenge to create CPS that evolve, in addition to the important challenge of simultaneous satisfaction of cross-cutting design concerns in order to achieve optimum behavior through the correct allocation of requirements to each of the three elements (physical, analog and cyber elements).

The IEEE International Symposium on Cyber Physical Systems Concerns and Applications (CPS’CAPP 2020) will provide a high-profile leading-edge forum for researchers and practitioners to present technical innovations, experimental results, theoretical studies, conceptual studies, and surveys on the topic. We expect papers presenting research orientations, techniques, and methodologies to elaborate (from design to set up) evolutive, trusted, secured, and intelligent CPS applied in different domains of interest. All submissions will be double-blind and peer-reviewed on the basis of relevance, originality, importance, and clarity of their contribution.

Submissions Guidelines and PROCEEDINGS
Manuscripts should be prepared in 10-point font using the IEEE 8.5" x 11" two-column format. All papers should be in PDF format and submitted electronically at Paper Submission Link. A full paper must not exceed the stated length (including all figures, tables and references). Submitted papers must present original unpublished research that is not currently under review for any other conference or journal. Papers not following these guidelines may be rejected without review. Also, submissions received after the due date, exceeding length limit, or not appropriately structured may also not be considered. Authors may contact the Workshop Chair for further information or clarification. All submissions are blind peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers. Accepted papers will appear in the Conference Proceedings and be published by the IEEE Computer Society Conference Publishing Services and be submitted to IEEE Xplore for inclusion. Submitted papers must include original work and must not be under consideration for another conference or journal. Submission of regular papers must not exceed 6 pages and must follow the IEEE paper format. Please include up to 7 keywords, complete postal and e-mail address, and fax and phone numbers of the corresponding author. Authors of accepted papers are expected to present their work at the conference. Submitted papers that are deemed of good quality but that could not be accepted as regular papers will be accepted as short papers.

Important Dates:
• Submission deadline: July 31, 2020
• Notification of acceptance: August 15, 2020

IEEE CSP’CAPP is sponsored by the French chapter of IEEE SMC (Sytems, Man, Cybernitics)
Possible papers extended versions in a special issue of the Transactions On SMC: Systems or Cluster Computing journal.

Submission system
We are pleased to invite you to submit original contributions to CPAS’CAPP via the official submission system for the conference https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aiccsa2020 .
